This gallery shows Porsches entered in the GT classes at Le Mans over the last two years. Le Mans race cars are quite different from their standard road-going cousins, the DNA of the 911 is obvious.
2017 should see a radical new Porsche 911 RSR racing at Le Mans as they have decided to configure the car to be mid-engined, although this will purely be for racing and will not appear in road cars.
