About Us
Our team consists of six members headed up by Barry Glenister, the Managing Director. Barry started the company in 1988 and is a qualified technician who commenced work in the motor trade in 1967.
Autotechnics Chichester Ltd has been established since 1988 and whilst we deal with all makes of cars, we specialise in the service and maintenance of Porsche and Mercedes cars. We are based in Chichester with the majority of our clients coming from West Sussex and Hampshire, with many travelling from much further afield.
We are members of the Federation of Small Businesses. They are the UK’s largest campaigning pressure group promoting and protecting the interests of the self-employed and owners of small firms.
We are the preferred workshop for the inspection and preparation of Porsche and Mercedes for Harbour Cars, a well known and prestigious company selling cars of high quality for which we use a 112 point inspection. Also the preferred workshop for Chappell Sports Cars who deal in pre-owned Porsche cars.
Since 1988 Autotechnics Chichester Ltd has evolved into an efficient and friendly business providing high quality service with down to earth prices. With most of our customers staying loyal to us and many of our new customers coming by personal recommendation, we have built up a wide and friendly clientele.
We believe in going that extra mile for our customers and keeping them fully aware of our findings so they can be in control of the money they are spending at all times. We are never too busy to help a customer in distress and have appeared on the Honest John website more than once.
We also believe the use of first class parts and oils are of paramount importance.
